WORKS
"Easter egg" by Aurélien Guintoli

Aurélien Guintoli's world is eclectic and colourful. This florist craftsman models floral compositions, each one more original than the next. He is back for a new WORKS for SecondNatur. We gave him carte blanche and preserved plants. Today he is making a beautiful Easter egg.

The material needed

To recreate this Easter egg, here are the plants you can use :

He worked in ostrich eggs set on mango candleholders.

How did Aurélien Guintoli make this Easter egg?

He begins by gluing a cardboard piece to the inside of each ostrich egg, attached to a recycled flower bowl. This allows him to gain height and a foundation for the flowering of his work. He then delicately glues on the saffron hydrangea, before inserting a few rosebuds, the immortelle and the craspedias. The orchid is the final touch and is placed in the centre. Once the floral arrangement is complete, he adds Bethlehem wood beads to the composition.
