The "boutonniere" by Le Dahlia Noir

Le Dahlia Noir is a brand with a strong and baroque identity, launched by Lénaic Peillon in 2020. He has created a poetic universe, mixing fashion, art, architecture and design, to seduce future brides.

He accepted our invitation and created for SecondNatur, a series of WORKS to discover in the world of weddings. In this first WORKS, he created, under the sharp eye of our lens, a boutonniere in pink, nude tones.

Necessary materials

To recreate the magnificent Dahlia Noir’s WORKS, here are the flowers and plants you can purchase:

How did the Dahlia Noir make this boutonniere?

He starts by gathering flower posy, which he will need to create the boutonniere. He first glues on a rose head and a piece of parchment fern. Furthermore, he takes two pieces of eucalyptus, diosmi and mountain fern, which he arranges around the preserved rose. He seals each piece with hot glue on the clear wedding pin. Finally, he wraps the entire arrangement in wired paper thread.

Find the matching bridal bouquet and wedding comb on the WORKS section of the magazine. For the festive season, take inspiration from his Christmas wreath.
