Why is gold the colour of celebrations?

Gold is traditionally associated with festivities, especially those around the end of the year. This colour immediately evokes wealth, luxury, and elegance, qualities often sought after on special occasions. Used in decor, gold adds warmth and a radiant touch, perfect for creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. It captures light, reflects it, and highlights other decorative elements.

Whether in floral arrangements, accessories, or table decorations, gold has always been a symbol of celebration, success, and prosperity. During the festive season, it also recalls the magic and sparkle of winter, especially when paired with natural textures like ruscus.

How to use golden ruscus?

Golden ruscus is a valuable addition to elevate your floral arrangements. Its large, elegant branches and delicate small leaves provide both volume and structure, while highlighting other plant elements. Its metallic sheen creates a refined contrast with flowers in rich tones, like the red of roses or the green of eucalyptus.

It also pairs perfectly with more neutral colours like ivory, white, or beige for a sophisticated touch. Ideal for festive compositions, golden ruscus integrates harmoniously into wedding bouquets, centrepieces, or garlands.
