A wildflower with universal charm

Solidago is an iconic flower of meadows and untamed woodland edges. Native to North America and also widespread across Europe, this bloom symbolises prosperity, good wishes, and new beginnings.

Its tall, slender green stems are dotted with countless bright yellow flowers. The striking contrast between stem and bloom creates subtle yet joyful depth. With its light, almost frothy appearance, Solidago evokes sunlit fields in the heart of summer.

How to style it in your arrangements?

It pairs beautifully with other preserved flowers in soft shades such as hydrangea, gypsophila or peony. Its bright yellow hue adds a sun-kissed touch to pastel palettes, warming up compositions without overpowering them. For bolder effects, combine it with more daring blooms like scabiosa or preserved mini roses to play with shape and volume.

To enhance its natural charm, Solidago is often combined with light preserved foliage such as pittosporum, eucalyptus or ruscus. These bring freshness while highlighting the delicate yellow flowers. It can also be used as a final flourish – a subtle accent or a luminous highlight that gently draws the eye.

Solidago & Canopy

The preserved Solidago from the Canopy range, with its airy panicles and dense flowering, perfectly captures the brand's spirit: authenticity, volume, and contrast. Its durability and maintenance-free nature make it a reliable choice for long-lasting floral designs.
