A flower with a graphic design to add a contemporary look to your arrangements.

Generalities : Stabilized flowers are natural. Variations in sizes, shapes and colours can exist between elements of the same reference. Some parts may present slight defects (slightly split petals, damaged sepals...).

Humidity : If the humidity level is too high, a few drops of colour can flow from the flower. Dark colours flow more easily. Do not put it in contact with any other flower or light-coloured porous material to prevent it from dying.

Light & heat exposure : The flower exposed to the sun for extended periods of time may discolour - Exposed to heat, it dries out.

Evolution over time : Over time, flowers tend to wither and fade more or less. Dark colours discolour more than light ones.

Flower's colour : Food colouring (non-toxic)

The Terracotta Tone: Warmth Meets Character

Terracotta is captivating for its natural warmth and earthy richness. This deep, mineral-inspired hue evokes authenticity, creativity, and raw beauty. In the floral world, it brings character while remaining surprisingly versatile: it fits seamlessly into bohemian, natural settings as well as more modern and contrasted arrangements.

Preserved terracotta Scabiosa aligns perfectly with this trend. Its warm, enveloping shade draws the eye and adds an almost sunlit organic touch to your designs. Neither too bright nor too muted, it offers the perfect balance between visual impact and natural elegance. Whether used in interior décor or event styling, it delivers instant visual appeal while maintaining harmony.

How to combine Scabiosa with other plants?

Scabiosa stands out thanks to its spherical, architectural shape, with delicately open calyces that give it a sculptural quality. In its terracotta version, it pairs beautifully with neutral tones such as linen, ivory, or beige, for soft and contemporary floral creations.

To enhance your plant compositions, combine it with preserved green foliage such as eucalyptus, ruscus, or ferns. The contrast between the greenery’s freshness and the terracotta’s warmth creates a striking visual dynamic—perfect for vertical gardens or stylised arrangements.

Terracotta Scabiosa also works wonderfully alongside other preserved flowers in warm tones. Together, they form a cosy, autumnal palette full of depth and nuance.

The business benefits of an unconventional flower

Choosing preserved Scabiosa means standing out from the crowd. In a market often dominated by familiar floral varieties, this rare and distinctive bloom sets itself apart with its unique silhouette and textural richness. It draws attention, sparks interest, and instantly adds a signature touch to any floral arrangement.

What’s more, its terracotta tone and graphic shape allow it to meet a wide range of professional demands: wedding floral designs, shop window displays, botanical wall art or contemporary decorative pieces. Preserved Scabiosa is far more than just a flower—it’s a creative asset that enhances any high-end floral offering.
